Nine New Awards for Beverly High School Media

This summer, Beverly High School Media students were awarded four National First Place Media Awards from the Alliance of Community Media. Students were presented the awards at a ceremony held at The Westin in Boston this year. The following students won for their excellence in various media categories: Emily Auday for Self Portraits (Inspirational Media), Allie Clancy for her Child Abuse Awareness PSA, Laina Meagher for The Leftover Cookie Dough (Animation), and Emily Auday and Kayla Ostrowksi  for A World of Difference video (Community Outreach).

In September, Beverly High School students received more awards from the Regional Chapter of Alliance for Community Media.  Laina Meager for Left Over Cookie Dough (1st place animation), Julia Perry and Ben Ingelson for Drunk Driving Prevention PSA (1st place PSA), Emily Auday for Sexual Abuse Awareness PSA (2nd place PSA), Daniel Lee for Trolling PSA (3rd place PSA), and Emily Auday for Self Portraits (1st Place Inspirational / Spiritual).

All media projects were from Ms. Lloyd’s media classes at Beverly High School and produced in association with BevCam.
