A Bolshevik revolutionary addressing Russian troops

Your group is part of a team of attorneys whose job is to gather evidence in preparation for putting Nicholas II on trial, accused of committing crimes against the Russian people.  Each group will be assigned a particular witness to prepare for testimony.  Using resources in your classroom and on the Internet, you will find out as much as possible about your witness.  You will then prepare to examine AND cross-examine this witness in front of the jury (the class).  Your group will also prepare exhibits to accompany this witness's testimony.  Once you have heard the testimony of all witnesses, each individual student will be asked to write a closing argument that pulls together the case for either the defense or the prosecution.
