It has become apparent that students in the middle school are experimenting with and abusing various substances. Special task force groups, each consisting of a law enforcement agent, health professional, teacher, counselor, and a legal guardian, have been assembled to investigate the situation. Each group is responsible for researching the many issues surrounding one of the following substances: tobacco, alcohol, illegal drugs, inhalants, prescription drugs. Using their research, each task force group will then be asked to devise a strategic plan of action that involves healthy decision making skills, to be employed in a middle school class, in order to try and combat this community wide crisis. If you care, the slightest bit, about "our" children (or your grade for this class) then I dare you to take on the challenging task at hand.
