INTRODUCTION:
The United Nations is about to launch the Earth's first weather manipulating satellite. In order to have the information needed to program the satellite, the UN's lead scientists need to create a database of information on the patterns of the earth's weather.  Since the satellite cannot manipulate all the earth's weather, the UN must decide which weather patterns cause the greatest effect on society.

TASK:
You and your team of meteorologists have been called upon to research specific Earth's global weather patterns. You must prepare a presentation that describes a weather pattern and shows how a particular weather pattern affects a certain area of the world.

PROCEDURE:

Team Leader
Responsible for keeping the team on task, completing a LEADER worksheet and writing a five paragraph essay summarizing the presentation complete with bibliography.
Meteorologist
Responsible for a complete description of the weather pattern and its causes, completing the METEOROLOGIST worksheet as well as citing  all sources of meteorological information.
Sociologist
Responsible for determining the effect the weather pattern has on the people of the area, completing the Sociologist worksheet and citing all sources of sociological information.
Technology Specialist
Responsible for the design of the presentation, and for rating all sources of infomation.
